The ‘2019 International Conference on Mechanical Engineering Education’ will be held in Shanghai (China) on 25th-28th October, 2019. At the same time, the ‘2019 Special Session of National Mechanical Engineering Teaching Advisory Board under the Ministry of Education’, ‘2019 Council Meeting of Mechanical Education Union of Excellent Engineers’ and ‘ASME Engineering Education Committee Meeting’ will be held.
The conference is themed at ‘Future-Oriented Engineering Education Excellence’, discussing about the related problem in the field of mechanical engineering education. It aims to: 
- gather mechanical engineering professionals in education, industry and government education administrators to explore the current state and future needs of mechanical engineering; education, and advocate for future development. 
- discuss the impact that the new scientific-technological revolution and industry changes exert to mechanical engineering education from the global perspective, and explore the new concepts and models of engineering education;
- advance the global development of engineering education by exploring both wide-spectrum and deep-level multi-national exchange and collaboration in engineering education
