Shanghai is located near the estuary of Yangtze River in the southeastern coast area of China. It is across the East China Sea from Kyushu Island, Japan, adjacent to Hangzhou Bay in the south and adjoin Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province respectively in the north and west. Currently, Shanghai is not only the largest industrial base and trade port in China, but also an international center for economics, finance, trade, shipping, scientific and technological innovation. Influenced by pleasant subtropical monsoon climate, Shanghai is a city with sufficient sunshine and rainfall and thus becomes one of the tourism attractions in China.
